Student On a Funded Account: Phil joined us last summer. Having quit his job to go it alone as a trader, things were not going so well 🙁 However, he started to improve and then worked with me, Marc,on a one-to-one basis. He inverted his results curve and is now on a funded account.
He is currently working with me helping my clients. He also posts regularly in the forum and is very happy to help. He has been looking after this “rookies corner for the last 6 months, we might have to find him a blog of his own soon 🙂
Heres are Phil’s stats before working with Marc:

Notice not only the massive improvement BUT also look at the drawdown. Thats pro-level trading!

The student becomes the master 🙂
Phil will be be posting his weekly analysis here now. Over to Phil:
I’m looking at 7 forward orders for the week ahead:

Student On a Funded Account
Notice my S/L per trade. I average about 40 pip stops, which allows me to risk a little more on sometimes smaller moves. This translates to minimizing my risk, while maximizing my gains.
As I mentioned in the forum last week: I’ve boiled my process from a thick cut, right down to the bone. I’ve maintained consistent and steady gains in my portfolio, with a simple system that allows me to live a full life outside of this computer. I’m going fishing with friends after I finish this post!
Let’s Talk Trades
Not listed, the EURCAD and EURGBP have triggered, which I detail in the video below.
The two are positively correlated, but I am longing the EURCAD and shorting the EURGBP to not compound my risk. Although, and “luckily”, they’re both doing as expected (so far!)
Take a look, I go over in detail where and why I’m looking to trade these key areas to grow my funded account:
